“1000-lb. Sisters’ star Tammy Slaton is heartbroken over the death of her husband, Caleb Willingham.
“I am deeply saddened to share the news of my husband’s passing,” said the 36-year-old reality star. told people on Saturday.
“He was my best friend and I loved him very much.”
Slayton continued, “When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he’s really watching over me.
“Our family appreciates everyone’s sympathy and asks that you respect our privacy at this time.”
The cause of Willingham’s death has not yet been disclosed.
TLC, the network behind Slaton’s reality show, said in a statement to People, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Caleb Willingham.
“Our thoughts are with Tammy, her family and friends during this difficult time.”
Slaton, 40, and Willingham met in 2022 when they were both at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Ohio for treatment for obesity.

The reality star stayed in the treatment center for 14 months to lose enough weight to qualify for weight loss surgery.
willingham proposed to slaton in October 2022, and they got married A month later at the rehabilitation center where they met.
“Our wedding day was perfect, there was so much love in the room,” Slaton told people those days. “I literally married my best friend.”
“I love waking up every morning and seeing her face. And to see his face every night before going to sleep.”
However, Slaton reportedly ended things with Willingham in May because he was “not following his regimen in rehabilitation.” Page Six has not independently verified those claims.
