Objective of Subhadra Yojana

The main objective of Subhadra Yojana is to empower women economically. In which a total amount of Rs 10,000 will be provided to the beneficiary women in two installments of Rs 5,000 each in a year. About 1 crore women between the age of 21 to 60 years will get benefit under this scheme.

This Rs 10,000 amount will continue to be received by the beneficiary for the next five years. A budget of Rs 55,825 crore has been set by the Cabinet for this scheme. Benefits of Subhadra Yojana

• All beneficiaries will be provided a Subhadra Card (ATM-cum-Debit Card).
• All eligible beneficiaries will receive Rs 50,000 per year over a period of 5 years between 2024-25 to 2028-29.
• The annual installment of Rs 10,000 will be deposited in two installments of Rs 5,000 each.
• The first installment will be released on the occasion of Rakhi Purnima and the second installment on International Women’s Day (08 March).

Important for Subhadra Yojana Eligibility

To avail the benefits of this scheme, the female beneficiary must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

1. The applicant must be a resident of Odisha.
2. The applicant should be covered under National Food Security Act (NFSA) / State Food Security Scheme (SFSS). A woman from any family without NFSA or SFSS card can apply under Subhadra, if her family income does not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh (Rupees two lakh and fifty thousand only).
3. To be eligible under the scheme, the age of the applicant should be 21 years or more and less than 60 years as on the eligibility date. The date of birth recorded in the Aadhar card will be considered as the last date for calculating his/her age.
4. For the financial year 2024-25, the age of the woman should be 21 years or more and less than 60 years as on 01.07.2024. Therefore, the applicant must be born on or after 02.07.1964 and on or before 01.07.2003. The date of birth recorded in the Aadhar card will be considered as the last date for calculating his/her age.
5. For the year 2024-25, if a woman attains 21 years of age after 01.07.2024, she will get Rs 10,000 per year for the remaining years of the scheme period. In the year 2024-25, women who complete 60 years of age after 01.07.2024 will not get the benefit for the remaining years of the scheme period.

Who will be ineligible for the scheme

1. Any woman who is receiving financial assistance like pension, scholarship etc. of Rs 1500 per month or more or Rs 18,000 per year or more under any state or central government scheme will be ineligible.
2. Owner of a 4 wheeler motor vehicle.
   1. Current or former Member of Parliament (MP) or Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).
   2. Income tax payer.
   3. Elected public representative in any urban local body or Panchayati Raj institution (except ward member/councillor).
   4. Are employed as regular or contractual employees in State Government or Government of India or Public Sector Undertaking or Board or Local Body or Government Organization or receiving pension after retirement. However, all employees receiving honorarium such as ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, community resource persons, master book keepers, etc. and all those employed through outsourcing agencies will be considered, if they are otherwise eligible under the scheme.
   5. Elected/nominated/appointed representative in any Government Department or Undertaking or Board or Organization of the Government of India or a State Government.
   6. Owner of a 4 wheeler motor vehicle except tractors, mini trucks, small commercial vehicles and other similar light goods vehicles.
3. The applicant’s family should not have more than 5 acres of irrigated land or more than 10 acres of non-irrigated land.

Subhadra Yojana Apply Online Process

• All eligible women will have to apply to avail benefits under the scheme.
• Application can be made offline and also online through Subhadra Portal.
• Beneficiaries can collect the application form for free from their nearest Anganwadi centres, block offices, urban local body offices, Mo Seva Kendras, general service centers etc.
• The applicant has to fill the form and submit it to the nearest Mo Seva Kendra/Common Service Center.
• In case of any discrepancy in the form and Aadhaar submitted by the applicant, the information contained in Aadhaar will be considered final.
• All applicants must complete e-KYC formalities.
