Salary Details
Each Community Health Officer (CHO) is entitled to a monthly honorarium of ₹ 40,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum:
- 42 years for EWS (Male)
- 45 years for EWS (Female) / BC & EBC (Male and Female)
- 47 years for EWS (Male)
Age Relaxation:
- 10 years for PwBD
- 05 years for Departmental Candidates
Educational Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Degree in Nursing with successful completion of a 6-month integrated curriculum of Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized University or Institute.
- OR Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of a 6-month Integrated curriculum of Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.
Selection Process
The selection process involves shortlisting of candidates. The shortlisted candidates must produce a permanent registration from the Indian Nursing Council or any State Nursing Council during document verification. Final selection requires obtaining permanent registration from the Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC), Patna, within 90 days of joining as a Community Health Officer (CHO).
