- Minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 25 years as of 1st August 2024.
- Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and others as per government rules.

- For ASI (Steno): Pay Level 05 ₹ 29200 – 92300/-
- For Head Constable: Pay Level 04 ₹ 25500 – 81100/-

- Candidates must have passed Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2 / Matric with 12th class) examination from a recognized board or university or equivalent.
