The BET Awards have finally arrived, and for the annual occasion that has celebrated black entertainment since 2001, the stars have adopted edgy looks.
This year’s ceremony, held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, also celebrates hip-hop’s 50th anniversary. A-list stars who have already arrived at this year’s awards include Coco Jones, Doechee, Eva Marcille and Summer Walker, with many more to come.
The star-studded evening, which is available to watch live on BET Network, will also include performances from Bia, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes and Tyga, as well as a heartwarming tribute to Tina Turner by Grammy-winning singer Patti Labelle.
