BATON ROUGE – The LSU baseball team will celebrate its 2023 national championship with a celebration on Wednesday, June 28, at Alex Box Stadium – Skip Bertman Field.
Festivities will begin at 7:30 p.m. and gates will open at 6:30 p.m. The program is expected to last for about an hour.
admission is free And there will be general admission for all non-premium sectors. Food and beverages will be available for purchase inside the stadium. The Alex Box Suites, Terrace and Champions Club will be reserved and ticketed.
In addition, LSU National Championship gear and merchandise Alex will be available for purchase on the box.
Fans can enter the Alex Box from Gate 0-3. Field level seats will be reserved for guests of LSU baseball and the university. LSU Athletics’ Gox Safe clear bag policy will apply for the event. No outside food or drink will be allowed.
Free parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Hall of Fame, Old Front Nine, Gaurier South, Levy South and Hayfield lots.
The celebration will also include the presentation of the National Championship trophy as well as remarks from several dignitaries. Head coach Jay Johnson will address the crowd along with members of the baseball team. The festival will end with a fireworks show.
The ceremony will be streamed live for fans who cannot attend facebook watch, youtube and on SEC Network+. A replay will also be available LSU Gold when the festival ends.
Champions Club and Suite Season Ticket Holder Information:
Complimentary tickets to the festivities will be mailed to all Champions Club, Suite and Terrace season ticket holders. You will not need a ticket to enter the stadium, but tickets will be scanned upon entry to the Champions Club or Suite levels. All tickets will be sent via mobile delivery.
