Search for the people who vandalized the synagogues at Coney Island

Coney Island, Brooklyn (WABC) — Police in Coney Island are searching for two men they say sprayed graffiti on two synagogues located across the street.

This happened on West End Avenue just after midnight on 14 May.

Surveillance video captured a suspect vandalizing one of the houses of worship.

About two hours later the second synagogue was ransacked.

It is not known what was sprayed on the buildings but the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.
